Kashmira Mistry, a local potter and ceramic artist, makes functional and sculptural pieces for the home and garden.
She uses terra cotta for the garden and stoneware and porcelain for pieces that make one of a kind gifts or keepsakes. All her functional pottery is food safe, microwave/oven and dishwasher safe . She is noted for her horse hair pottery in Keller and Roanoke, where she lives with her husband. She is considered an Artist in Residence at Westake Academy, and in a small way has supported Tarrant County Empty Bowls since the first year it hosted the event, and the local Keller Animal shelter, using her pottery as a means to raise funds.
